String Theory - June 2024 - Crochet Amigurumi/Plushies

In this class we will go over the basics of making amigurumi/plushies and then put our skills to use by making an adorable elephant!

Skills taught:

• Crocheting in the round

• Increasing and decreasing

• Using safety eyes

• Stuffing your pieces

• Sewing pieces together

• Embellishing your plushie

If you choose the option where supplies are not provided, you need to bring the following:

• Size F or G crochet hook

• Worsted weight yarn

• 1 split ring or locking stitch marker

• Small amount polyester stuffing

• Yarn needle

If you choose the option where supplies are provided, you need to bring the following:

• Size F or G crochet hook

The elephant pattern and safety eyes will be provided for either option.

Ages 12+ only. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Refunds only given if requested via email 3 days prior to the first week of class. In the event that there will be fewer than 2 participants, class will be cancelled and a full refund will be given. Notifications will be sent via email.
